Matthew Cutajar and mum Judith completed their first triathlon of the summer season on Easter Sunday.

The weather was cold and miserable and the turn out for the Novice event was half of the previous year. Despite the weather and feeling a bit rusty they both managed to reduce their times compared to last years event.

Matthew finished in a total time of 54:40 taking 11:31 of his 2011 time (66:11) and finished 24th.

Judith finished in a total time of 49:12min taking 16:36 of her 2011 time (65:48) and finishing 21st.

Their next triathlon is on 13th May at Bishopsbrigg.
