Training Overview

The club offers training for all ages and abilities, from P2 upwards, thanks to a team of over 20 athletics coaches, coaching assistants and leaders.

There are around 30 different sessions available every week, providing fun, fitness and competition for over 300 children and adults.
Run + Jump + Throw Club

Ages: P2-S1

Days: Mon, Wed & Fri

Fun and inclusive athletics sessions for primary school children.

RJT focuses on fundamental movement skills and helps children learn vital skills which they will need as they develop. Children are introduced to a range of athletic events, basic skills, balance, coordination and speed sessions; the essential ABC's of all sports.

Athletics Club

Ages: 12+

Days: Mon, Wed & Fri

Athletes move to the main club sessions at around age 12. Secondary school children can join the club directly, while primary school children start in our RJT Club and progress to the main club as they develop.

There are four stages in our coaching structure, providing athletes with a progressive pathway from "playground to podium".

At the start of the pathway, the focus is on multi-event skills development. As athletes progress through the pathway, the approach becomes more event specific.

Structured athletics training for young adults, training alongside our secondary school athletes. Specialise in sprints, endurance, jumps or throws, whatever your current experience level.

Our exciting holiday camps give young athletes the chance to experience a week of athletics training. Each day is filled with fun games, technique sessions and competition.

Available during the Easter, Summer and October holidays.
