The penultimate round of the Scottish Athletics Open Graded Grand Prix Series gets underway at East Kilbride on Wednesday
night, with 100m, 300m, 400m, 800m, 3km, High Jump, Shot Putt and Discuss on offer for Under 17, Under 20 and Senior athletes.
The previous round of the Grand Prix Series was
held on 3rd July in Edinburgh. In the 200m, three Livingston athletes braved the wind and rain, after which Michael Andison moved into 3rd place in the series male rankings, while Louise
Crilly currently sits 6th in the female rankings.
Jennifer Crilly was the club's sole representative in the field events, with her throw of 22.78m in the female Javelin
enough to move her into 2nd place in the Under 20 series rankings.
Outwith the Grand Prix Series, in the open events, Vicky Dalziel won her 200m race convincingly with a
personal best of 28.14, adding to her 3rd place finish in the 75m Hurdles and and 5th place finish in the Javelin.
