The third round of the National Junior Athletic League took place at Clairville Stadium, Middlesbrough on 29th June, with seven Livingston athletes competing for Team Forth Valley.

Season best performances were achieved by Ian Hardacre, running the 1500m in 4:25.8, and Danny Nicoll, jumping 5.14m in the Men's Long Jump.

The athletes eagerness to fill almost every event helped Team Forth Valley win round three by a considerable margin, extending their lead at the top of the Tyne Division to 214.5 points.
