With the 2009 AGM approaching, we are again looking to recruit more parents to help with various admin duties.

This year our long standing membership secretary, Sue McDowall, will be standing down after many years in the role, as will the club treasurer, Myra McLean, and Andy Sneddon, our child welfare officer.

For the club to continue to function effectively we need parents to fill the roles of treasurer, membership secretary and child welfare officer.

The main responsibilities of the membership secretary include; processing membership applications/renewals; updating the club membership list; register new members with Scottish Athletics.

The main responsibilities of club treasurer include; maintain financial ledger detailing all income and expenditure; collect, count and bank income; organise payment of supplier invoices.

The main responsibilities of the child welfare officer include; ensuring the club comply with child protection legislation; ensuring all volunteers are disclosure checked; ensure all volunteers have received appropriate training for their role.
