On the weekend of 17/18 August, 15 Livingston athletes were in action at Grangemouth Stadium for the Scottish National U17/Senior Championships.
Congratulations to the five medals winners: Sarah Calvert, Matthew Power, Alix Fairley, Isla Calvert and Andrew McGill.
Sarah Calvert won her first Scottish National Senior title, with a run of 2:08.37 in the Senior Womens 800m securing the gold medal.
In the U17 Womens 800m, Isla Calvert successfully defended her National U17 800m title to win the gold medal for a second year. Isla's 2:09.77 run was also a Championship Best Performance by almost a second.
Andrew McGill who won a silver medal in the U17 Mens 1500m with a new personal best of 4:06.81.
In the U17 Womens Hammer, Alix Fairley won a silver medal with a new personal best and club record throw of 47.23m.
Matthew Power won a gold medal in the Senior Para 100m with a Championship Best and Personal Best of 11.72, and followed that up with a silver in the 200m in 23.88.
Outside the medals, there was also impressive performances from Fraser Morris and Lewis MacIver with both setting new personal bests.
In the U17 Mens 800m, Fraser reduced his previous best by almost 2 seconds, running 2:01.57 to secure a place in the final.
Lewis set a personal best of 52.05 in the U17 Mens 400m heats, a full second faster than his previous best, which secured his place in the final where he finished 5th.
There was also a few athletes narrowly missing medals, with Alix Fairley finishing 4th in the U17 Womens shot put; Alastair Marshall finishing 4th in the U17 Mens 1500m and Iona McDonald finishing 4th in the Senior Womens 400m.
