The National Indoor U17 Championships take place on Saturday 26 January at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.

For athletes who compete regularly in league matches and other District or National level events, this is a chance to test yourself against the best athletes in Scotland!

Entry

For all Scottish Athletics District/National Championships, the club submit entries and will pay the entry fees for athletes paying monthly membership fees (subject to a few conditions which are available below).

We have suggested entry standards available below as a guide for parents/coaches when deciding whether to enter an athlete, to ensure the National Championships are an appropriate level of competition for the athlete.

We do recommend that athletes discuss event selection with their lead coach before entering.

Please enter online using the links below before midnight on Thursday 10 January. No late entries will be accepted under any circumstances.

For athletes outwith the entry standard, the entry fee is £10 per event.

As this is a National level event with potentially multiple heats and rounds, at which athletes should be focussing on competing in their strongest events and giving their best possible performance, the club will enter athletes into a maximum of 2 events.

However, depending on the timetable, it may only be feasible to compete in 1 event, so please check the provisional timetable when considering what events to enter.

At this Championships, the following events have minimum entry standards:
