Gore Glen Playing Fields in Gorebridge, Midlothian, was the venue for the Lasswade Athletics Club Open Cross Country Meeting on Sunday 3rd November.

Nine athletes from Livingston & District AAC made the journey in bright but very blustery conditions to compete on the heavily waterlogged ground.

Isla Calvert was 2nd in the u11 girls race over 1 mile with 54 competitors taking part.

Fraser Morris was 3rd and Jordan Welsh 38th in the boys u11 race, also over 1 mile.

In the u13 girls race over 2 miles, Sarah Calvert was 4th, Rachel Gibb 16th, Rebecca Calder 32nd, Heather Scott 40th and Holly White 42nd. In the team competition, with the top three counting, Livingston & District AAC finished 4th.

In the combined mens u20, seniors and masters race, set over 6 miles, Ryan White finished in 61st place.

With trophies presented to the top 4 individuals in each race, Livingston & District AAC collected 3 of the trophies presented.
