Congratulations to Anton Atkins who passed his UKA "Assistant Coach" qualification at the end of September. The "Assistant Coach" award is a 2 day course held over a weekend and is the second step on the UKA coaching pathway.

The club are currently looking for more people to help with coaching on a Wednesday night to support the increasing membership numbers, big groups are easier to manage with an extra pair of hands!

Are you interested in helping with coaching regularly (at least once per month) and potentialy becoming a qualified coach?

We would pair you with a more experienced coach to aid your coaching confidence and development. Development is paced by you - we would not ask you to do anything you're not comfortable with.

You could do the "assistant coach" qualification and remain as an assistant, or work towards the full "coach" qualification and eventually work with your own group. All training costs are paid by the club.
