Two athletes from the club, Shawn Wright and Andrew Mitchell, were in action in the final round of the Scottish Men's Athletics League, held at Aberdeen Sports Village yesterday.

Shawn was first on track, running in the 100m 'B' race. He finished in 11.87 but unfortunately suffered a hamstring injury which prevented him from competing further.

Andrew finished a tactical 800m 'A' race in 4th place, running 2:04.75. In Shawn's absence, Andrew also had to run the 400m, in which he finished 5th in the 'A' race, and the 4x400m relay in which the team came 4th.

Overall the team finished the match in 5th place, giving them 6th position overall in the league for the season. This means they will remain in Division 1 next year!
