As part of our on-going need to provide a quota of officials for the competitions we compete in, can anyone interested in offering their services as an official, please contact Andy Sneddon.

Scottish athletics will be providing courses in the near future, for which the club are prepared to pay the entry fees for anyone that would like to attend.

No experience is necessary, as all training will be given to anyone over the age of 18 years.

In wider terms, the UK will have to train and use a lot of officials at both the 2012 Olympic Games and the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

The training courses are provisionally scheduled for Thursday evenings in January and February.
