After strong performances over the last few months in the East District Cross Country League races and the East District Championships, Sarah Calvert (U13G) and Jake Thomas (U17M) were selected to represent the East District team at the Inter-District Cross Country Championships.

The Championships were held yesterday at Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, alongside the Great Edinburgh International Cross Country event.

In the u13 girls race, Sarah finished 6th out of 38 runners with a time of 12:14 for the 3K course.

The 6K u17 mens race was combined with the Junior International race. Jake was 9th out of 31 district runners, completing the course in 21:17.
