From 1st April 2012, for all junior members paying monthly membership fees to the club, the club have taken responsibility for registering new members with Scottish Athletics and renewing the Scottish Athletics memberships of existing members.

The cost of this, £5 per year per junior member, has been offset by an increase in the joining fee for new members to £25.

This change was made to prevent athletes from being unable to compete if they either hadn't registered or had forgotten to renew their Scottish Athletics memberships.
