Volunteer Rota - Summer 2012

The club is run by volunteers. Members, or the parents/guardians of junior members, are required to assist those volunteers in some capacity each year as a condition of club membership.

At the AGM in 2010, it was agreed that the club would operate an officiating rota to cover the club's quota of officials at league matches and to provide officials for club events.

The volunteer rota for the summer 2012 season is available below, and has also been emailed to everyone and posted on the club noticeboard in the pavilion.

NOTES
1. At the start of each competition, volunteers should check-in with the club contact:

Central & South League - Sandra
Forth Valley League - Jill / Stephen
Club Trials/Championships - Alistair

2. Start times for the competitions will be published on the club website closer to the event date.

3. The officiating duties are usually as simple as raking the sand in a long jump pit or collecting shots/javelins. Previous experience of athletics is not required and is not expected. The events are managed by qualified officials and full guidance is always given.

4. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to find a replacement or someone willing to switch dates if you're not available on the allocated date.
