Young Livingston Athletic Club athletes braved atrocious weather conditions at the Scottish Schools Athletic Association Road Race Championships held at Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline.
The recently held event (4th October) had 1703 athletes competing from P6 to S6 from schools the length and breadth of Scotland.
They all dug in regardless of driving rain, managing impressive achievements across 11 races ranging in distance from one to three miles.
Running brothers, Finlay and Campbell Menzies led the charge with para-athlete, Finlay Menzies coming in first place in the frame running category and Campbell first in the ambulant category. Both attend Balerno High School.
