Four Livingston para-athletes achieved a stunning medal haul at the Scottish Disability Sports Senior Track and Field Championships held on Wednesday 13 September at Grangemouth Stadium.
Cameron Tweedie, Matthew Power, Finlay Menzies and Kaydan Day won seven golds, two silvers and a bronze medal between them.
Frame runner Finlay, set a new personal best in the 400m with a time of 1.22.18. He also came first in the T72 category in the 100m with a time of 20.22. And he made it a golden trio with a fine run in the 200m race runner category with a time of 41.44.
T20 athlete Matthew Power won gold in the 100m in 12.33 and placed first in the 200m in 24.34. He won a silver medal in the long jump with a best of 4.94m.
Kaydan Day took gold in the men's 1500 with a time of 5:04.31 and made it a double in the 800m with a definitive win in 2.09.65. He also got a PB in the shot put with a throw of 6.44m.
Cameron Tweedie won silver in the 1500m in a time of 5.09.64, a bronze in the 800m in 2.34.21 and a best throw of 8.78m, in the javelin.
