Congratulations to Isla Calvert who was the silver medallist in the "Group B" age category race at the Scottish Schools Cross Country Championships, with a time of 15:44.

The championships were held at the Hopetoun Estate, South Queensferry, last Saturday with six Livingston athletes representing their schools.

Also in the "Group B" girls race, Shannon Prevost was 53rd, while Mia Sokoluk was 62nd in the "Group D" girls race.

Sarah Calvert was 4th in the "Group A" girls race with a time of 16:15.

In the boys races, Alastair Marshall was 8th in 17:35 and Fraser Holman 34th in the "Group B" boys race.

Isla and Alastair have now been selected for the Schools International Cross Country at Santry, Ireland. on Saturday 23 March.
