The Scottish Schools Pentathlon Championships were held last Saturday, 3 June, at Grangemouth, with Matthew Boules and Tia Henry both competing in the Group B category.

Congratulations to Tia who won a silver medal, finishing 2nd overall after the 5 events with a personal best pentathlon score of 2965.

Matthew finished 8th overall, also with a personal best pentathlon score of 2442.

In the individual events, Matthew set another 3 personal bests with 16.86 for the 100m hurdles, 9.20m for the shot putt and 5:19.58 in the 1500m.

Well done to both Tia and Matthew for their excellent performances throughout the day across all five events.
