Scottish Schools Pentathlon

Six athletes from Livingston were competing for their schools at the Scottish Schools Pentathlon Championships at
Grangemouth last weekend.
The athletes had to contend with a gruelling schedule, competing in five events over a matter of hours. All athletes faced sprint hurdles, long jump, shot putt and the 800m, with the boys doing a 200m while the girls had high jump.
Congratulations to the six athletes, Aisling Dennis, Alice Fisher, Vicky Dalziel, Jillian Gisbey, Chris Nairn and Stephen Watson (pictured below), who all put in fantastic performances throughout the day, managing plenty of personal bests!
