The third and final round of the East District Cross Country League took place yesterday at Broxburn, with twelve Livingston athletes in action in crisp wintry conditions.

In the U11 girls race, Sophie Messenger was 30th in 7:20 on the 1.4K course.

The U11 boys ran the same course with James Vivian finishing 23rd in 6:14.

In the U13 girls race, Isla Calvert was 6th in 11:28, Charlie Maree Nolan was 20th in 12:28 and Sophie Ure was 39th in 13:25. The girls were running on a 2.7K course.

Also running the 2.7K course, in the U13 boys race, Fraser Morris was 31st in 11:48, Alastair Marshall was 43rd in 12:26 and Euan MacIver was 54th in 14:15.

In the U15 boys race, Aidan Brady finished the two lap 4.1K course in 40th place with a time of 18:08.

The U15 girls and U17 women ran in a combined race, also on the two lap 4.1K course. Holly White was 44th U15 girl in 22:19 and Taygan Henry was 11th U17 women in 19:49.

In the combined U20/Seniors/Masters men race, on a three lap 8.1K course, Ryan White was 190th overall in 37:32.
