July/August Open Meeting Highlights

During July and August, a number of club athletes were competing in open events across Scotland to try new events or set personal bests, without the formalities of league/championship competitions. Well done to all the athletes that took part in these events!

SA Field Event Grand Prix

On the weekend of Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July, five Livingston athletes competed at Craigswood in the third round of the Scottish Athletics Throws & Jumps Grand Prix with all five athletes setting new personal bests in at least one event!

The penultimate open event at Grangemouth Stadium took place on Wednesday 2nd August.

Shettleston Harriers Open Graded Meeting - Tues 25th August

On Tuesday 25th August, three Livingston athletes were at the newly reopened Crownpoint track in Glasgow for the second event in Shettleston Harriers annual open meeting series.

Congratulations to Isla Calvert who set a new club record for the U13 Girls 1500m with a personal best run of 5:01.31!
