The summer season got off to a fantastic start on Wednesday night at Pitreavie, where Livingston & District where the winners of round 1 of the Forth Valley League division 2.

We were ahead of Musselburgh in second place by just 9.5 points, and Dunbar weren't far behind in third place, so there can be no room for complacency!

Well done to all the athletes who competed on Wednesday night, especially those who helped fill the 1500m and high jump events - that was difference between first and third place overall.
