After excellent performances over the last few months in the East District Cross Country League races and the East District Championships, Isla Calvert (U13G) and Sarah Calvert (U15G) were selected to represent the East District team at the Inter-District Cross Country Championships.

The Championships were held in cold, windy and blizzard conditions on Saturday at Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, alongside the Great Edinburgh International Cross Country event.

In the u13 girls race, Isla finished 10th out of 41 runners, and was the 1st East runner, with a time of 13:55 for the 3K course. The East District team were 2nd in the u13 girls event.

Sarah finished 8th in the u15 girls race, running the 4K course in 18:55. In the u15 girls race, the East District team were the overall winners with 34 points.
