The Scottish National Junior Indoor 4x200m Relay Championships take place at the Emirates Arena, Glasgow, on Saturday 24th January.

The club have entered teams in all six age categories - U13B, U13G, U15B, U15G, U17M and U17W.

Selected athletes will be notified during the week commencing Monday 12th January.

The teams are selected jointly by a group of volunteers with multiple criteria considered to get the strongest possible teams:

1. Personal best for relevant events (200m/300m/400m) on selection date
2. Recent performance if an athlete has a faster seasons best than an athlete with a faster personal best
3. Training performance / attitude / attendance

Once all selected athletes have confirmed their availability, the teams will be finalised and athletes notified. Only if enough athletes in each age group are available can a team compete and athletes may be moved up an age group to accommodate this.

There will be a relay practice session at the end of the training session on Wednesday 21st January.

The Emirates Arena is also hosting the Sainsbury's Glasgow International Match on Saturday 24th January. The relay heats will take place before the International match, but the finals are interspersed with the International races. Spectators will require a ticket for the International to watch the relay finals.
