Men's League Round 2

Three club athletes travelled to Aberdeen for the second round of the Scottish Athletics League, held on Sunday 18th May.
Andrew Mitchell ran his first 800m back from injury, finishing the 'A' race in 7th place, in a time of 2:11.68.
Jake Thomas took on his first 1500m in almost two years, recording a new PB of 4:13.9, and was the 2nd 'B' athlete across the line.
John McOmish was in action in the throws. In the discus he finished 7th 'A' string with a throw of 22.23m. In the shot putt he achieved a distance of 7.86m, finishing 6th 'B' string. He also recorded throws of 24.68m in the javelin and 19.26m in the hammer.
Jake and Andrew were also part of the 4x400m relay team that finished 5th in a time of 3:42.28. Jake was on leg two with Andrew on leg three.
