Senior 400m runner Shawn Wright was in action in Bedford on the first weekend in May at the British Universities Athletics Championships.

Shawn ran 50.08 in his 400m heat to finish 2nd and progress to the semi-finals, however a time of 50.09 and a 5th place finish in his semi-final heat was unfortunately not enough to secure a place in the final.
