The National Cross-Country Championships took place at Callendar Park, Falkirk, on Saturday 22nd February.

Ten club athletes took part this year in what was a very muddy competition.

The first event underway that our athletes competed in was the U13 Girls race, Sarah Calvert finished the 3.2K race in 6th place in a time of 14:08. Iona McDonald finished in 93rd, Rachel Gibb in 97th, and Rebecca Calder in 101st.

In the U15 Girls, Hannah Mairs completed the 4K course in 70th place in a time of 19:20. With the U15 Boys completing the same course with Ethan Heather in 53rd place and Fraser McLean in 119th.

Alistair White completed the 6.4K U17 Men's course in 71st place in a time of 29.39. With his brother Ryan White competing in the 8K U20 Men's course in 47th place in a time of 37:50.

Yvonne Crilly represented the Senior Women finishing 110th in the 8K race in a time of 36:32.

Well done to all competitors in what was a challenging course at National level.
