Scottish Age Group Indoor Results

We had some very exciting news from the Scottish National Indoor Age Group Championships this year.
Sarah Calvert won the final of the U14 Girls 800m to become Scottish Champion in a time of 2:30.72!
Jake Thomas finished 4th in the final of the U20 Mens 800m breaking the 2 minute barrier for the first time with a run of 1:59.31.
Four of the club's U16 Girls qualified for the semi-finals of the 60m, with a PB from Chloe McAlear and Hazel Shanley, putting Hazel through to the final where she finished 7th.
Taygan Henry finished 7th in the final of the U16 Girls 60m hurdles with a new personal best of 9.86.
There was a PB from Grant Kirkwood with 9.64m to finish 7th in the final of the U18 Men's Shot Putt.
The championships saw an amazing 21 athletes across the age groups entering this year, all with great performances, 14 athletes made it through the heats and semis to the finals and there were over 20 personal bests set during the weekend!
