Some of the club's senior endurance athletes took a break from their festive preparations to compete in the Edinburgh AC Queens Drive 5K Road Race, held on Sunday, 21st December 2008, on a cold but scenic route round Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh.

Congratulations to the club's two finishers; Louise Crilly, 64th overall and the 6th fastest senior women; and Sue McDowall, 77th overall and the 7th fastest masters women.
