The final Scottish Womens Athletic League match in early August was abandoned due to the heavy rain, however the Men's League match at Grangemouth continued despite the conditions with 3 Livingston athletes competing.

In the throws, John McOmish was 2nd in the 'B' shot putt with 7.85m, 2nd in the 'B' javelin with 20.91m and 2nd again in the 'B' discus with 22.52m.

Andrew Mitchell was doing the 800m/1500m double again. Andrew was 4th in the 'B' 800m with a time of 2:09.66 and set a personal best of 4:38.04 in the 1500m with a 3rd place finish in the 'B' race. Andrew was also 3rd in the 'A' long jump with a personal best jump of 5.59m.
