Shawn Wright and Jake Thomas were at Gateshead International Stadium on 24th June for the first match in the Northern Premier division of National Junior Athletic League after the April match was cancelled due to a flooded track!

In the 200m 'A' race, Shawn was 8th with a time of 23.61. Shawn was also 8th 'A' in the triple jump with a distance of 10.93m and 5th 'A' in the 400m with a time of 50.92.

Jake was 7th 'B' in the 400m with a new personal best of 56.23 and 5th 'A' in the 1500m with another best of 4:15.06.

Both athletes competed in the 4x400m relay, finishing 8th in 3:37.05.
