Three of the club's u14 girls were at Pitreavie on the last weekend in June for the Scottish National Combined Events Championships.

The girls - Taygan Henry, Hazel Shanley and Chloe McAlear - were competing in the u14g pentathlon which included the 75m hurdles, 800m, high jump, long jump and shot putt.

There were improved personal bests for Hazel Shanley in the high jump (1.23m) and Taygan Henry in the shot putt (5.66m).

The girls also had strong performances in the 800m, the last event of the day, all running close to their personal bests.

Overall, after the five events, Taygan Henry was 6th with 2048 points, Hazel Shanley was 12th with 1627 points and Chloe McAlear was 14th with 1452 points.
