On what was a busy weekend with the younger athletes competing two days in a row, Sarah Calvert, Tia Henry, Taygan Henry and Robyn McDowall were at Meadowbank on Sunday 20th May for the second round of the Scottish Women's Athletic League.

The girls were representing Team Forth Valley which also includes athletes from Central AC and Falkirk Victoria Harriers.

In the under 13 girls 'A' 800m race, Sarah was 5th with a time of 2:35.74, narrowly missing a personal best.

Tia was 4th in the 'B' 70m hurdles race with a personal best of 14.42, and was part of the 4x100m relay team that finished 2nd in 57.34.

In the under 15 girls 800m, Taygan also set a new personal best of 2:41.70 with a 3rd place finish in the 'B' race.

Robyn McDowall was also 3rd 'B' in the senior 800m with a time of 2:45.65.
