After their success in the indoor relay championships, the Livingston u14 girls were back in action yesterday at the Scottish National Junior 4x100m Relay Championships, held at Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow as part of the Scottish National Senior Championships weekend.

In an exciting heat, the team of Hazel Shanley, Taygan Henry, Chloe McAlear and Robyn Fairley finished 2nd in 55.51, just behind Edinburgh AC, to secure a place in the final.

Four hours later the girls lined up again and finished 5th in a closely fought race, just tenths of second off a bronze medal with a time of 55.87.
