On what was a busy weekend with the athletes competing two days in a row, Sarah Calvert, Tia Henry and Taygan Henry were at Meadowbank on Sunday 22nd April for the Scottish Women's Athletic League.

The girls were representing Team Forth Valley which also includes athletes from Central AC and Falkirk Victoria Harriers.

In the under 13 girls 'A' 800m race, Sarah was 4th with a new personal best of 2:35.39, knocking almost 8 seconds of her previous best.

Tia was 3rd in the 'B' 70m hurdles race with a time of 15.00, and was part of the 4x100m relay team that finished 3rd in 57.57.

In the under 15 girls 800m, Taygan also set a new personal best of 2:45.09 with a 6th place finish in the 'A' race.
