After years of requests by clubs, athletes and coaches, the District Championships have made a return to the Summer fixture list in their original format with an East only event at Meadowbank Stadium, Edinburgh, on the weekend of 12/13 May.

All club athletes who compete regularly in league matches should be entering the East District championships.

The championships use different age groups from league matches:

U14: Born 1999/2000
U16: Born 1997/1998
U18: Born 1995/1996
SEN: Born 1994 or earlier
