Over the last four weeks, Livingston athletes have been in action at Parkruns 5K events across Scotland. Some highlights include:

■ On 3rd March, Alastair Marshall (u11b) set a new personal best for the first time since September, with a time of 22:30 for the 5K course at Falkirk.

■ On 10th March at Falkirk, Andrew Mitchell (u20m, Sarah Calvert (u11g) and Isla Calvert (u9g) all set new personal bests. Andrew ran 19:10, Sarah ran 20:34 and Isla ran 23:29!

■ On 3rd March, Fraser Morris (u11b) set a new personal best with a time of 22:47 for the Fakirk course.

Every Saturday morning, Parkrun offer free 5K timed runs for runners of any standard at various venues across the UK. The nearest venues to Livingston are Crammond/Silverknowes Promenade, Edinburgh, and Callendar Park, Falkirk.
