National Indoor Relay Championships

Livingston athletes were back at the Kelvin Hall again on Sunday for the Scottish National Indoor Relay Championships. The club had two under 14 girls teams and a senior mens team competing.

In the first heat of the u14 girls event, the "B" team of Hannah Mairs, Hannah Mackay, Emma Raley and Kirsty McFadyen finished 5th.

In the second of three heats, the "A" team of Taygan Henry, Chlole McAlear, Tia Henry and Robyn Fairley won their race in 2:02.98 to qualify for the final.

In a closely fought final with the positions constantly changing over the four lap race, a strong finish ensured the girls finished 3rd to win bronze medals with a time of 2:04.36!!

The senior mens team of Scott Henderson, Callum Murray, Alistair Dalgleish and Shawn Wright were 2nd in their heat, qualifying for the final with a club record of 1:34.49. The team finished 5th in the final with a time of 1:34.66.
