Are you interested in becoming an official?

On Monday 14th November, a Level 1 Assistant Officials Award course in being held at Craigswood Sports Centre from 6.00 PM to 9.30 PM.

The course covers the basics in all disciplines: judging principles of throws, jumps, track judging, timekeeping and starting. It is designed to develop team work stills and to provide a basic understanding of the fundamental rules of officiating.

The club have a constant requirement for officials as league affiliation rules mean we need to provide a minimum number of officials at every match. We actually lose match points by not providing enough officials! This can be the difference between promotion and relegation.

The club would like to expand our pool of officials and get more parents involved in supporting the league teams.
