NJAL Match 4 Highlights

The final round of the National Junior Athletic League took place two weeks ago at Gateshead.
Highlights from the match included a personal best of 53.93 by Shawn Wright in the 400m and a wind-assisted best of 11.73 by Scott Henderson in the 100m.
Both athletes also ran the 200m. Shawn was in the "A" race and ran 24.43 while Scott ran 24.99 in the "B" race.
Shawn was in the 4x400m relay team that finished 7th in 3:33.10 and Scott did the 4x100m relay in which the team were 7th in 45.88.
Scott also did the shot putt, throwing the 6kg weight for the first time, to get some points for the team.
"Team Forth Valley", which also includes athletes from Central AC, Falkirk Victoria Harriers and Lothian RC, were 5th overall in the league this season, meaning they stay in the Northern Premier division of the National Junior Athletic League next year.
