National U16 Championships

Two Livingston athletes were in action two weeks ago at the Scottish National U16 Championships, held at Scotstoun Stadium, Glasgow.

In the 800m heats, Jake Thomas ran 2:08.83 to finish 2nd and get a place in the final. However, due to a knee injury Jake didn't finish the final.

In the discus, Robbie Nairn threw 37.13m which secured a bronze medal, a new personal best and a club record.

Robbie went one better in the shot putt, throwing 13.98m to win a silver medal and set another PB and club record.
