Livingston's first match in Division 1 of the Central & South of Scotland Athletics League took place on Sunday 1 May at Wishaw with 34 athletes competing for the club.
The effort and performances from everyone there was faultless and there was an impressive number of personal bests, however, a lot of athletes were missing, and as a result the club were 8th out of 8 teams in the overall placings.
The athletes worked hard last year to get promoted from Division 2, so it would be great for the club if we could stay in Division 1, which means we need a much bigger team at the next match at Grangemouth on Sunday 5th June.
