| ■ | For u13 athletes, there winter there is just one U13 SuperTeams Championships in February, with a Scottish Athletics Indoor U13 Open Graded Meeting added in March. |
| ■ | For u15 and u17 athletes, the Scottish Closed Championships in January have been replaced by the Scottish Athletics Indoor Open Graded Meeting. |
| ■ | For u20 and senior athletes, the Inter-Regional match in January has been replaced by the Scottish Athletics Indoor Open Graded Meeting. |
| ■ | The main indoor "track & field" events for most athletes will be the Scottish Athletics Indoor League, with matches in December, January and February in Glasgow. Availability forms will be handed out in mid-November. |
| ■ | For additional competition opportunity, there are several open graded meetings at Grangemouth and one at Edinburgh. At these open graded events, athletes register themselves on the day of the competition and choose their own events. Heats are graded so athletes compete against people of a similar standard. |
| ■ | For higher level competition, there are Scottish Athletics Open Meetings and Championships. Further details about registering for these events will be posted on the club website throughout the season. |
| ■ | The main cross country events are the East District League matches, with two events remaining at Broxburn in November and at Livingston in January. There is no selection or pre-entry for this league, everyone is encouraged to take part. |
| ■ | For additional competition there are district championships in December at Aberdeen and the national championships in February at Falkirk. |
