Congratulations to Jake Thomas who set a new 800m personal best last night at Crownpoint, Glasgow, in the final of the Derek McLean Memorial 800m race.

In a closely fought race, Jake ran 2:08.6 to finish 5th, knocking almost 4 seconds off his previous personal best set at Grangemouth in June.
