Midweek Open Graded Meetings

Two Livingston athletes were competing in open graded meetings last week.
On Tuesday night Jake Thomas was at Crownpoint, Glasgow, taking part in the Shettleston Harriers Open Graded Meeting.
Jake ran a comfortable 2:15.1 to finish 3rd in his heat in the prestigious Derek McLean Memorial 800m race, meaning he now qualifies for the final tomorrow night.
On Wednesday night Amanda Campbell was in Linwood, taking part in the Scottish Athletics Golden League Final that was held during the East Kilbride Open Graded Meeting.
Amanda finished 12th in her mixed 1500m heat with a personal best time of 4:52.47, which was also the 2nd fastest female time at the event.
This week the midweek action moves to Grangemouth where the final event in the Grangemouth Stadium Open Graded Series starts at 6.45 PM on Wednesday night.
