The fourth and final round of matches in the National Junior Athletic League were held last weekend, with the Northern Premier Division match taking place at the recently refurbished Scotstoun Stadium, Glasgow.

Livingston & District AAC are one of four clubs in "Team Forth Valley" who finished the match in 5th place and were also 5th in the final league standings.

Amanda Campbell (U20W) was the club's ever-present representative in the team with 4 "A" string wins and 4 personal bests from 14 performances in 8 different events at the four matches. Amanda's highlights included:
At Manchester back in April Amanda won the 400m "A" race in a personal best time of 58.6.
One month later, at match two in Edinburgh, Amanda won the 800m "A" race in a fantastic personal best time of 2:12.81 and managed a second personal best of the day in the 200m with 26.48.
In June the action moved to Gateshead where Amanda won the 1500m Steeplechase "A" race in a personal best of 5:22.86.
Last weekend in Glasgow, Amanda won the 800m "A" race for the 2nd time this season in a time of 2:17.76.

The National Junior Athletic League provides U20 athletes with an opportunity to compete in a nationwide league that bridges the gap between U17 and senior level competition.
