Sarah Calvert began her Commonwealth Games campaign on Thursday morning, lining up for Team Scotland in heat 2 of the Women's Mile.
In a closely fought race, Sarah finished 6th in a season's best of 4:32.04 to secure her place in the final on Saturday evening.
In the final event of the athletics programme, Sarah finished 7th in the Women's Mile Final at her first major international championships!
It was a strong run from Sartah in a tactical race where just 1.6 seconds separated the first eight athletes.
From joining Livingston AC as an 8-year-old in April 2010 to competing in a Commonwealth Games final, Sarah's journey has been incredible, and everyone at the club is immensely proud of everything she has achieved.
