Junior Grand Prix - Sat 13 Apr

Entries are open for the first Junior Grand Prix of 2024, on Saturday 13 April.
This is a fun introductory club level competition, suitable for children of all standards, from the U9 to U15 age groups.
At every competition athletes will compete in at least 3 individual events (run, jump and throw) and a team relay.
This local competition opportunity is provided free of charge for Livingston AC athletes, but we do require parents to help out 2/3 times per year (more details below).
Details
Date: Saturday 13 April 2024
Time: 10.00 am - 1.00 pm (Warm-up/Declarations from 9.30 am)
Venue: Craigswood Sports Centre, Livingston
Entry: Entry Form
Closing Date: Midnight on Wednesday 10 April 2024 (No late entries and no entry on the day)
Cost: FREE for Livingston AC athletes (but parents required to help 2/3 times per year)
Eligibility: This ia a closed event for Livingston club/RJT athletes only
Medals: All competitors will receive a medal after the relays
Parent Helpers
For each event to go head, we need at least 20 parents to volunteer to help the coaches and officials.
The tasks usually involving helping at field events, relay changeovers or with declarations. No previous experience is required and experienced officials will be there to guide you.
Please add a note to the entry form if you have a preference for which role.
If enough people offer to help, then parents only need to help for an hour, not the full morning.

U11: 80m, 150m, Long Jump, Shot Put, 4x100m Relay
U13: 100m, 200m, Long Jump, Shot Put, 4x100m Relay

Other Dates
The other dates are Saturday 18 May and Saturday 17 August.
The April/May/August dates provide athletes with a local competition opportunity leading up to each of the three Forth Valley League and Central & South League dates.
