The U15, U17 and U20 National Indoor Championships were held last weekend at the Kelvin Hall, Glasgow, with three Livingston athletes taking part.

In the under 15 girls events, Ella McFarlane competed in the 60m and 200m. In the 60m, Ella finished her heat 5th with a personal best of 8.95, just narrowly missing qualification for the next round. In the 200m, Ella finished her heat 4th, with an indoor personal best of 30.56.

Jake Thomas was competing in the under 15 boys 800m. Jake ran a tactical 2:31.08 to win his heat and secure an automatic place in the final. Jake then ran 2:13.96 in the final to win a Gold medal by more than 3 seconds and knock almost 6 seconds off his previous personal best.

In the under 17 mens events, Scott Henderson was running in the 60m. Scott ran a personal best to win his heat in 7.53 and qualify for the semi finals. In the semi, Scott ran 7.56, his second fastest ever 60m performance, to finish 4th.
