Four Livingston athletes were back at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow last Thursday, representing their schools in the Scottish Schools Indoor Track & Field Championships.

In the u16 boys 60m, Scott Henderson ran 7.66 to finish 2nd in his heat and qualify for the next round. Scott finished 2nd again in his semi-final, equalling his personal best and securing a place in the final with a time of 7.57. In a tough final Scott ran 7.75 to finish 5th.

Jake Thomas was running in the u16 800m. Jake finished heat 2 in 4th place with a time of 2:23.8, just a few seconds slower than his personal best of 2:19.90 that was set in January at the u15 closed championships.

In the o16 events, Daniel Fulton competed in the 400m. Daniel finished his heat in 4th place with a time of 56.3 for the two lap race - narrowly missing beating his personal best of 56.1 that was set in August 2009 at the club championships.

Vicky Dalziel competed in the o16 shot putt and 60m hurdles. Vicky finished her sprint hurdles heat in 4th place with a time of 10.24. In the shot putt Vicky threw 9.60m to finish 4th overall, narrowly missing the bronze medal spot.
